Gambier UMC has stood on the corner of Wiggin and Acland since the late 1800's. We stand as a beacon of God's light and love to the community of Gambier. Our ministries include Operation Wiggin Street School: We give coats, hats, gloves and scarves as needed to the school children. We offer appreciation to our teachers through gifts and lunches. We are partnering with Life Point Church to provide a distribution site for Back Packs to Wiggin street school children. We provide women's ministries through Women's Teas in the spring Women's Bible Studies We pray for our community and our world during Tuesday Prayer Time We eat together and share together Every Sunday, coffee and snacks before, during, and after church 2nd Sunday Lunch after church Birthday Celebration last Sunday of month Come join the small community of believers for honest conversation about God and his word

Our 2019 Seder Meal. Thanks to all who came and made this a wonderful evening and date night with our God!
We celebrated an excellent Seder Meal last evening - the Last Supper before Good Friday. Reflect on today and its meaning....then join us on Sunday at 6:30 am at our sister church, Ebenezer United Methodist Church for our sunrise service. EASTER Sunday!
Tomorrow is Maundy Thursday and the celebration of the Last Supper. We will also be celebrating at our Gambier United Methodist Church starting at 6:30 pm with a Seder Meal. Would you like to join us? Just let us know and we will set a place for you at our table.
This is the HOLY WEEK...the week starting with Palm Sunday, followed by Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and then culminating in Easter Sunday. Enjoy the remainder of the week, as we all celebrate our Savior and Redeemer, and these 2,000 year old events!
